Business Site 2003 designed by AGConsult

On the Night of the Internet (30 October 2003) the site of the
Brussels Enterprise Agency (http://www.abe-bao.be)
was elected Best Business Site of 2003. AGConsult was responsible for
the information architecture and layout structure of the site.
While the old site of the Brussels Enterprise Agency was a reflection of
the agency's internal structure the new site is completely tailored to
the needs and wants of entrepreneurs. The award for Best Business Site,
two months after the site's launch in September, proves the
user-oriented approach works.
The information architecture of the new site was designed by AGConsult.
Interviews with BEA employees, user tests and log file analysis helped
our experts to figure out the mental models of the site's users, which
resulted in a structure that fulfils the needs of the site's target
audience. AGConsult also drew up the requirements for the basic layout
structure of the site and the content management system, with web
builder E-venture responsible for the design and development.
