Due to a growing demand from our customers AGConsult has launched a new
service, 'Visitor behaviour analysis', aimed at the detailed
quantitative analysis of visitor behaviour on web sites, intranets or
extranets. A logical addition to our predominantly qualitatively
oriented services.
Nothing beats qualitative usability research when evaluating a
project's user-friendliness. However, that doesn't mean quantitative
research is without merit. Especially for companies who don't really
know what people are doing on their web site, a quantitative analysis of
the visitor behaviour on their site can be very enlightening. Visitor
behaviour analysis is useful as a service on its own, as a step during
an information architecture redesign process or as a preparation before a
user test.
AGConsult is no newcomer to logfile analysis tools. But our analysis
goes further than what mere tools will tell you. We don't just hit you with
numbers but focus on what people are really doing on your site. Which
links do your visitors click? Which paths do they follow? Which pages
make you loose your visitors? Which search words do people use to get to
your site? Where do your most valuable visitors come from? What are your
neswletter subscribers doing on your site? Is there a difference in
surfing and buying behaviour between first-time visitors and regular
customers?
'Visitor behaviour analysis'
answers these and other questions. Put the spotlight on your visitors,
find out the real impact of your marketing and redesign efforts and increase your site's return on investment.
