The renowned American usability company Usability Sciences
Corporation chooses AGConsult as a partner for Dutch-language user tests on the new
version of Microsoft's Windows XP Media Center.
Usability Sciences Corporation (http://www.usabilitysciences.com),
a long-established American usability company with customers like Dell,
HP and Nokia, asked the assistance of AGConsult for the user tests of the Dutch version of
Microsoft's new multimedia software, the Windows XP Media Center (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/mediacenter/default.asp).
The Media Center allows the user to access all multimedia from a single
application. It's a home entertainment system for the whole family. The
software comes with its own remote control and turns your PC into a TV,
VCR, DVD-player, digital photo-album and more.
Because the user-friendliness of an application like the Media Center
is crucial to its success, Microsoft chose to do extensive user testing
on the Media Center. AGConsult was chosen for the user tests on the
Dutch version of the software.
