After successful usability assignments for Daikin Europe's public web
sites and extranet, the air-conditioning company has hired AGConsult for
the testing and reworking of their end-user oriented brochures and
leaflets.
Besides a benchmark test by the AGConsult experts, comparing Daikin's
brochures and product leaflets with those of their main competitors, we
also got real end-users involved in the project.
Based on the results of the expert benchmark test and user tests
AGConsult proposed a new strateg that can be deployed in all countries
Daikin Europe is active in. AGConsult and the Daikin team cooperate on
the content of the brochures and lefalets while advertising agency La Movida
is responsible for the graphics.
In June 2004, Daikin Europe launched its new web site, which was
largely based on AGConsult's recommendations. During the summer, Daikin
noticed that, despite the less than radiant weather, the renewed web
site had more visitors and generated more leads (+40%).
