Report 2002 |
 |
|
AGConsult has evaluated the user-friendliness of 65
Belgian sites based on twenty basic usability criteria. A
staggering 60% of the tested sites fail on fourteen or more of the
twenty categories. The report also clearly shows the link between usability, audience figures and cost-effectiveness.
| What's in it: |
- Results of the research with general conclusions
and figures.
- 101 practical tips that will help you to avoid
and solve the most common usability issues.
- A discussion of the usability strengths and
weaknesses of 65 Belgian
sites. The usability problems are often related to
those discussed in the tips but there are some very
specific items as well. The report is a great basis for
checking your own site's usability.
- 300 screenshots illustrating what's good and what
can be improved.
The table of
contents and sample pages from the
general conclusions, the tips, the
group conclusions and the site
reviews will give you a good idea of the report's
content.
Who's it for:
Anyone involved in the conceptualisation, design or
implementation of Internet projects. The report is an
interesting reference work and the tips are applicable to any
site or intranet, no matter whether it's the site of a
multinational, small or medium-sized company or one-person
business.
